The event took place in central Tunis near the iconic Clock Tower on Avenue Habib Bourguiba, attracting many young participants passionate about environmental issues. Their active litter collection impressed passers-by and helped raise environmental awareness. Thanks to the assistance of various partners and contributors, the event was successfully carried out. We sincerely appreciate their support.

COMMENT
A group of three passionate youth committed to environmental action. Emna Ismail, 23, is an engineering student at the National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia, specializing in fisheries and environmental sciences. She is a climate activist, COP28 participant, and member of the youth group revising Tunisia’s NDC 3.0. Youssef Mahfoudhi, 24, holds a degree in business computing and is pursuing a Master’s in Cybersecurity at the University of East London. Yaacoub Mahfoudhi, 22, recently graduated with a degree in photography. They met through the “Participatory Action Research” project on climate change in Tunisia. Their shared commitment led them to join SPOGOMI Tunisia, promoting cleaner environments and inspiring young Tunisians to take action for a better future.
