REPORT

Cumulative efforts between Spogomi Philippines and various local government units and NPO`s contributed to the success of The Nippon Foundation Spogomi World Cup 2025 Philippines Qualifiers.The event was held in Davao City on August 15,2025 coinciding with the city`s Kadayawan Festival. Particpated by different sectors , neighboring communities, local organizations who shares the same objectives pertaining to coastal clean-ups, eco-tourism and waste management. A total of 509.1KG of trash has been collected ,marking its success. Davao City fully supports the activity via its Davao D.C. Plinado project which aims to foster a culture of discipline, respect, and social responsibility among Dabawenyos starting from the youngest members of the community.
