REPORT

The German stage took place in Düsseldorf. Fortunately, the event was blessed with good weather. The participating teams came from a variety of backgrounds, including Japanese students, regular litter pickers and those who had taken part in the previous event. All teams worked hard until the end to collect as much waste as possible, ultimately collecting 423 kg in total.

COMMENT

We found out about SPOGOMI through a poster. Since we have always been interested in environmental protection, we thought it was a great competition and decided to take part. Although this was our first time competing, we practiced at home beforehand. We didn't expect to win. While in Japan, I will work on a strategy to do my best at the World Championships.
