REPORT

Solomon Islands held qualifiers on the 27th of July 2025. Teams were in high spirits and came in eager to compete. It was a nice sunny day and despite having only one team qualifying, all teams left the competition feeling proud of the effort they all put in the event. Participants expressed the need to continue these kinds of events as not only it brings people together for a sporting event but also it was a way people can give back to our city in terms of keeping up the cleanliness of our city.

COMMENT

Trash Titans team are made up of three young energetic boys. They are David Yee, Trevor Junior Haohou and Denson Maneho. Upon learning about the Spogomi event they got together and formed Trash Titians to compete in the Solomon Islands qualifiers for the first time ever. The have known each other growing up and are very excited to be able to represent their country at the world stage that is the Spogomi World cup 2025.
